Hi, I'm Arika.
Owner and operator of Shear Madness Barbering, and the only person who will ever be holding the shears in this room.
I have been in the hair industry since 2010 and still love what I do every day. Most of my career has focused on men's and masculine cuts. I started at the bottom, worked my way up to managing, and eventually became a regional educator helping other stylists grow.
Now I have taken the leap to open my own shop and be my own boss, and it has been amazing so far.
The loft is the perfect place to unwind and relax without feeling overwhelmed. Start your visit with a complimentary drink, yes adult beverages too, enjoy a massaging shampoo, and finish off with professional products to keep your hair looking fresh.

Everyone is welcome in my chair. No kid is too young, and I offer designated days for clients with sensory sensitivities. I am also proud to be an LGBTQ+ ally.
